A Day at Marineland Mallorca
On the beach at Costa d'en Blanes in Calvià, Marineland is one of the island's most enduring family days out — a marine park about fifteen minutes from Palma where the whole day is built around its show schedule. The headline act is the Grand Dolphin Show, with bottlenose dolphins leaping and spinning alongside their trainers at 12:20 and 16:20. Around it the day fills in: a Sea Lion Show at 12:00 and 16:00, the free-flying macaws and parrots of the Infinity Parrot Show at 11:00 and 14:00, penguin feeds, a walk-through tropical house, marmoset feeding, and indoor aquariums where sharks and rays glide past the glass. Between shows, a children's pool and a shaded relaxing area give younger visitors a place to cool off.
