A Day at Natura Parc
About 20 minutes from Palma, near Santa Eugènia, Natura Parc bills itself as the only interactive animal park on Mallorca — the whole point is to touch, feed and get close to the animals rather than just watch them. In the barrier-free Toca Toca zone, children meet and feed friendly lambs, goats, ducks, rabbits and hens with a keeper alongside, and there are dedicated encounters with lemurs, loris and exotic birds like the aratinga parakeets. With more than 100 species across ten-plus areas and the conservation work of the Fundación Natura Parc behind it, it makes for an easy full day out with kids. When: open Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30–16:30; closed Mondays and Tuesdays. In summer: the Aquanatura water zone runs June–September; the picnic and barbecue area is open 15 October–1 May.
