ALART 2026 · Art de nit a Alaró
ALART turns the mountain town of Alaró into an open-air gallery for a month. Now in its 19th edition — it began as the "Night of Art in Alaró" back in 2007 — the festival hangs contemporary art across municipal buildings, churches, streets, shops, restaurants, galleries and art centres, mixing well-known local names with national and international artists. You follow a numbered map from space to space: photography, painting, video art, sculpture and large installations, with 16 venues to wander between on foot. The whole thing kicks off on Saturday 20 June from 20:30 to 00:30, when the streets and squares fill with live performance — a Batucrak batucada, Circ Bover's contemporary circus piece Serena, Alberto Trabado's flamenco La Farruca, the Companyia Dansa d'Alaró, and a late open-air DJ session, Plaça Session III, with DJ Julian Smith and the Utopia I sound system spinning until 2am. The exhibitions then stay up until 18 July, with parallel activities through June and July — a children's workshop, an artist talk on art and illness, and an open day at the nearby Palmyra Sculpture Centre — before a finissage closing party on 18 July. Opening night · 20 June: Batucrak batucada 20:30 (C/ d'Alexandre Rosselló) · Serena, Circ Bover 21:30 (Plaça de la Vila) · Cuerpo y Materia, Valentina Russo 22:00 (Parc de Son Tugores) · Plaça Session III, DJ Julian Smith + Utopia I 22:00–02:00 (Plaça de la Vila) · La Farruca, Alberto Trabado 22:30 & 23:00 (Clastra Casal Son Tugores) · 3 Dones, Companyia Dansa d'Alaró 23:30 & 23:55 (Amfiteatre, Parc Son Tugores).
