A traditional Mallorcan equestrian exhibition lights up the hamlet of Crestatx, in sa Pobla, on a summer Saturday evening. Bot del cavall brings together doma mallorquina (Mallorcan horsemanship), the joc d'anelles (ring game) and the corregudes d'abraçats (embrace races) — an open-air show the whole village turns out for. Horses and riders show off the island's own style of dressage, gallop to spear the hanging rings, and pair up for the spirited embrace races, all staged in the heart of Crestatx by the Ajuntament de sa Pobla.
