Family workshops at CaixaForum Palma
CaixaForum Palma runs a rolling programme of hands-on workshops for families — most weekends and through the school holidays, each one built around making, experimenting and play. Sessions are pitched by age (from about 4 up) and change constantly: recent ones have had children building electrical circuits with LEDs and homemade plasticine (Plastiformes luminosas), inventing remote-controlled sounds (Sonidos teledirigidos), turning a box into an instrument (Cajón de sonidos), exploring the colours of food (Comemos en colores) and reading the night sky (Planetas y estrellas, En busca del eclipse). The workshops sit alongside the centre's exhibitions and its all-day reading-and-play space, so a family visit can be a full morning or afternoon out. Check the centre's family agenda for the current sessions, ages and times.
