Open Farm at Can Cavall Blau
In the heart of Mallorca's Pla, Can Cavall Blau throws open the gates of its organic finca so you can see — and taste — what life on a real working farm looks like. Founded in 2017, the four-hectare estate grows 4,000 hand-pruned vines using the regenerative Delinat method, alongside olive and almond groves, and shares its land with eleven thoroughbred polo horses. Sundays are made for families. The farm opens from 4pm to meet the horses, play with the animals — friendly cats and snail-chasing ducks included — and settle into the slow rhythm of the countryside. Two hours before sunset comes the Aperitivo Hour: a relaxed, social tasting of Amargéro, the estate's handmade bitter-orange aperitif, with spritzes and nibbles as the light turns golden. Entry is free but reservations are essential. On Friday afternoons the finca also runs its Open Farm Experience — a two-hour guided walk through the vines with tastings of natural wines and Amargéro. As on any working farm, keep little ones close around the horses and water.
