Capella Mallorquina Concert at the Torrent de Pareis
Once each July the Capella Mallorquina choir climbs into the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis, the dramatic gorge where two ravines meet the sea at Sa Calobra, and turns its sheer rock walls into a natural concert hall. The 2026 edition — the 62nd — falls on Sunday 5 July at 17:30, with a youth choir joining the singers for the first time and a string quartet alongside them. The programme leans on film and musical-theatre scores — pieces from Les Misérables, The Lion King, West Side Story, The Sound of Music and Les Choristes — and closes, as ever, with La Balanguera, the Mallorcan anthem, sung back by the crowd. Admission is free and unreserved. Most people arrive by boat from Port de Sóller; the alternative is the famous hairpin road down to the cove. Come early to find a spot on the sand and rocks before the music starts.
