David Gómez: 1 Piano & 2.000 Espelmes
Mallorcan pianist and composer David Gómez returns to Felanitx with 1 Piano & 2.000 Espelmes — an intimate, open-air recital lit entirely by two thousand candles. The stone steps of the Parròquia de Sant Miquel, in the heart of the old town, become a single warm, glowing room where piano and candlelight create an atmosphere you don't forget. Rotterdam Conservatory–trained and with concerts at Carnegie Hall to his name, Gómez plays his own compositions — contemporary and cinematic in spirit — in a close, stripped-back format that has filled sanctuaries and squares across Mallorca.
