Es Capdellà en Festes 2026
Es Capdellà, the small inland village above Calvià, throws its patron-saint fiesta for the Mare de Déu del Carme over five days in the middle of July — five days that turn a quiet farming village into the liveliest square in the municipality. It's a gloriously local, unpolished festa: neighbours run it, the whole village turns out, and the programme is built as much for kids and grandparents as for anyone else. Expect the classic Mallorcan village mix — live music and dancing in the plaça, an artisan market, and games that spill across the streets. The rowdy highlights are a foam party and a water battle that pits the village 'dimonis' (demons) against a soaking-wet crowd, and on the Saturday a fire celebration kicks off at 22:30 and rolls straight into a late 'White Party' where everyone wears white. Held in Es Capdellà, a ten-minute drive inland from Calvià Vila — the whole village becomes the venue.
