Family Week at the Festes del Carme, Port de Pollença

Plaça de Miquel Capllonch, Port de Pollença, Mallorca

Between 13 and 19 July, the Festes del Carme in Port de Pollença fill the week with family plans. Monday brings free water games at the municipal pool, and Tuesday a children's water obstacle course at the Reial Club Nàutic, with a greased pole, balance beam, ice cream and a raffle. Wednesday evening pairs a children's Just Dance party with an open-air screening of Paddington, both in Plaça de Miquel Capllonch. Thursday, a family workshop on Platja de Llenaira works on balance, juggling and environmental education about the bay. Saturday brings a children's party with Uapidubi, again in the square. The week closes on Sunday with a solemn mass followed by the maritime procession of Sant Pere and the Mare de Déu del Carme, patroness of sailors and fishermen — decorated boats parading around Pollença bay, watchable by the whole family from the seafront.

Thursday's beach workshop at Llenaira requires a swimsuit.
None of these family activities carry a listed price in the programme; the only priced item that week is an optional solidarity fideuà dinner (€15 adults / €10 under-8s) on the Thursday evening, separate from the family workshop.
Most evening activities are on Plaça de Miquel Capllonch; the water events are at the Municipal Swimming Pool and the Reial Club Nàutic, and the family workshop is at Platja de Llenaira.
