Canyamel closes out July with its patronal summer festa — two free evenings on the seafront, hosted by the Ajuntament de Capdepera. Saturday opens with a sopar a la fresca (open-air dinner) on Plaça Cap Vermell at 20:00, live music from Grup Eva at 21:30, and a fireworks display by Pirotècnia Jordà lighting up Canyamel beach at 23:30. Sunday belongs to the little ones — children's water games from 17:00 and a foam party at 20:00 back on the plaça — while the community gathers at the Canyamel chapel at 19:00 for the mass honouring the patron saint, Santa Catalina Tomàs. Bring the family, grab a spot on the square, and stay for the fireworks over the bay.

The festa opens Saturday at 20:00 with a shared open-air dinner on Plaça Cap Vermell.

The plaça turns into a dancefloor from 21:30 as Grup Eva play the Saturday-night set.
Fireworks over the bay
At 23:30 Pirotècnia Jordà light up Canyamel beach with the festa's fireworks display.

Sunday afternoon is for kids — water games from 17:00 and a foam party at 20:00 on the plaça.
