Festes de Sant Jaume — Calvià Vila 2026
Every July the inland town of Calvià vila turns its whole week over to the Festes de Sant Jaume, the patron-saint summer festes that are the biggest celebration on the local calendar. The signature act is the correfoc on the feast day itself, 25 July — a fire-run of pounding drums, showering sparks and costumed devils weaving through the old-town streets. Around that night the programme fills out with live music, verbena dance parties in the square and a run of children's and family events, so the fiesta stretches across every age and across the whole festes weekend. This is the town's own patronal celebration in Calvià vila — not to be confused with Santa Ponça's Rei En Jaume landing festival or the ticketed Es Jardí concert series. Programme: Correfoc fire-run on the feast day, 25 July · live-music concerts and verbenas in the town square · children's and family events by day · traditional patron-saint acts, all in the streets and squares of Calvià vila. Practical: Around 25 July 2026 · Calvià vila old town, around the Sant Jaume parish church · free open-air town festival, no ticket · the full day-by-day 2026 line-up is published by the Ajuntament de Calvià closer to the dates.
