Marratxí opens the Mallorcan summer-festival calendar with the **Festes de Sant Marçal**, the municipality's patron-saint celebration, centred on the historic sanctuary and plaça of Sant Marçal (between Sa Cabaneta and Pòrtol). Across the last week of June the program fills with culture, music and activities for all ages, with strong participation from neighbours, local entities and businesses. Highlights include Marrockxí, the festival's dynamic rock showcase with local and national bands, and a feast-day finale on 30 June: a Solemn Mass in the Sant Marçal church, a "Symphonic Vermouth" with the Young Symphonic Orchestra of Marratxí, the show *A Night on Broadway* by the Marratxí Music Band, a comedy night and a closing light show. The 2026 edition's official poster — by Aleix Compte — centres on the Sant Marçal church reinterpreted in a modern, festive key.
