Festes de Sant Pere a Andratx

Andratx (Plaça d'Espanya and venues across the municipality)

Andratx turns over a near-month of celebration for Festes de Sant Pere, the festa honouring the town's patron saint. From 7 June to 5 July 2026 the municipality fills with cultural, sporting, musical, children's and traditional events that draw the village together — a genuine local festa rather than a tourist spectacle, with most events free and open to everyone. The heart of it falls on 29 June, Sant Pere's day, when Andratx marks its patron with a solemn mass, the floral offering and the traditional Ball de l'Oferta, threaded through with popular activities. The weeks around it carry the rest: open-air verbenas in Plaça d'Espanya with live bands and DJs, concerts, dances and open-air cinema, plus the much-loved Davallada de Carretons, a downhill race of handmade wooden carts that tumbles from the cemetery car park through the streets to the main plaza. Sport: the programme stacks the Volta a sa Dragonera by kayak, the Pujada al Castell de Son Mas hill climb and the Brutatló (with a Brutatló Kids), alongside pétanque, tennis, table tennis, basketball, futsal and synchronised-swimming tournaments. Opening: festivities kick off on 22 June with the pregó read by Josefina Peralta Balaguer, the presentation of the 2026 Madones and the Andratx Prizes.
