Festes d'Estiu — Mare de Déu dels Àngels, Cala Millor
Every summer, in the last days of July, Cala Millor throws its Festes d'Estiu in honour of the Mare de Déu dels Àngels, the patron of the resort's own parish. For about a week the celebration pours out of the church and along the passeig marítim: roving cercaviles, drumming batucada, open-air verbenas and concerts a few steps from the sand — free, family-friendly, and unmistakably a seaside town letting its hair down. The solidarity heart of the festa is the Pamboliada solidària on Saturday 1 August, when Plaça Eureka fills for a communal pa amb oli supper in aid of the AECC cancer association, with live music and a traditional raffle (doors 20:00, supper from 20:30).
