The Festes de la Mare de Déu d'Agost are the summer patronal festa of Sencelles, in the flat farming heart of Mallorca (Es Pla). From 31 July to 16 August 2026 the town fills its streets and squares with a fortnight of activities for every age — the communal tremponada popular, the home-grown concurs de Playback, open-air verbenes with live orchestras, and fireworks over the warm August nights. The big day is 15 August, the Mare de Déu d'Agost itself: the cercavila of the xeremiers winds through the village, the solemn Assumption service is held at the parish church, the symbolic Ball de l'Oferta is danced, and the great traca final closes the celebration. The festa is put on by the Ajuntament de Sencelles together with the town's associations, groups and volunteers.
