About

The patron saint festivities of Mancor de la Vall in honour of Sant Joan take place from 21 to 24 June, with a programme featuring live music, ball de bot folk dancing, bonfires for the revetlla and the most anticipated event: the Festa del Cavall. On 24 June, the feast day of Sant Joan, Menorcan horses and their riders parade through the village streets in a spectacular nighttime equestrian display (the Moguda Mancorina, around 1:00 a.m.). The festivities also include a solemn mass, a cercavila street parade with a brass band, traditional games for children and a communal dinner. Free admission.
