Festival DART

Fundació Miró Mallorca

Festival DART is an international documentary film festival on contemporary art — art, design, architecture, photography and visual thought seen through cinema — that the Fundació Miró Mallorca hosts in Palma every February. Born in Barcelona (where it runs as the DART Barcelona International Film and Art Festival and marks its tenth edition in 2026), the festival expanded to Mallorca in 2026 through a collaboration with the Fundació that turns the screening room into a space for discovery and reflection on today's visual arts. The format is a weekly cycle: a different documentary on each **Thursday of February, at 19:00, screened in its original version with Catalan subtitles. Admission is free**, but advance registration and a seat reservation are required — each film is booked through its own link. Screenings take place at the Fundació's headquarters at Carrer de Saridakis 29, Palma. This is an off-season February festival and an annual fixture, so the activity is modelled to persist (seasonal, recurring) rather than as a one-off date. The 2026 edition has already passed; the next edition returns in February — check the Fundació Miró Mallorca site for the programme and dates.
