For several days around June 29th, Port de Pollença celebrates the Fiestas de Sant Pere, patron saint of fishermen. The festivities include folk dances, bagpiper gatherings, concerts, tributes to former fishermen, habaneras, and a maritime fair that fill the port's streets. A celebration of deep-rooted seafaring and cultural heritage that moved to Port de Pollença before the 1930s, where the fishing community was based.
