Fiestas Populares de El Toro 2026
El Toro throws open its streets for eight days of free summer fiestas populares, and in 2026 they carry extra weight: the edition marks the 50th anniversary of the Asociación de Vecinos de El Toro, five decades of a small coastal neighbourhood in Calvià pulling together. Expect the full village-festa songbook — an opening pasacalles with batucada drummers, back-to-back verbenas that run past three in the morning, a water-and-foam afternoon for the kids, honours for the neighbourhood's elders, and a closing mass and procession through the streets. Plaça Europa is the beating heart of it all: 'la gran arrancada' and 'la gran verbena' fill it with resident DJs and a live set from Hombre 80, while the days in between stack up petanca, ping-pong and futsal tournaments, a Zumba class, a 'Cal Pulga' cycling route, an outdoor dinner with solidarity bingo, and an afternoon of games and piñatas for the little ones.
