Fira de Sant Miquel
Plaça de sa Font de Santa Margalida·09:00
Felanitx marks the feast of Sant Miquel (29 September) with one of Mallorca's classic autumn fairs — an agricultural, craft and commercial show that takes over Plaça de sa Font de Santa Margalida and the surrounding streets from nine in the morning. Local farmers, growers, artisans and traders lay out produce, machinery, livestock, food and crafts, and the day is threaded with live music, a hunting-dog competition and activities for children. It's the anchor of a full fair weekend in this working wine-and-almond town in the south-east of the island: expect ball de bot folk dancing, market stalls stretching through the centre and the easy, everyone's-out feel of a Mallorcan fira rather than a tourist event.
