Fira Nocturna d'Ariany
Once a year, the small Pla de Mallorca village of Ariany turns its streets into a single open-air table: the Fira Nocturna, a consolidated summer institution that mixes gastronomy, craftsmanship, culture and local business into one free evening. Stalls sell tapas, local wine, sobrassada, ensaïmades and other island staples, and village bars extend their hours and menus for the night; food trucks fill the gaps. Alongside the food, farmers and craftspeople set out fresh produce, honey, oils, aromatic herbs and woven baskets, and a run of traditional music and dance performances closes the evening with open dancing in the square. Entry is free. The village has limited public transport, so plan to drive (parking is on the outskirts) or arrange a lift if coming from Palma or a nearby town.
