For four months in 2026, Mallorca becomes a living exhibition space. PHOF — Mallorca PhotoFest is the island's new international festival of photography and image, a biennial event led by Art Palma Contemporani, running 25 April to 30 August 2026. More than 30 projects and 50+ events span a network of 40-plus venues — Palma's contemporary galleries, Es Baluard, CaixaForum, the Miró and Toni Catany foundations, CCA Andratx — and reach out to town councils from Felanitx and Manacor to Inca, Calvià and Santanyí. Expect exhibitions by names like Joan Fontcuberta, Donna Ferrato and Pixy Liao, plus talks, guided tours, workshops, photo-film screenings and a photobook club. Many activities are free.
