Mallorca Planetarium & Observatory, Costitx
High above the village of Costitx, in the middle of the island, the Observatori Astronòmic de Mallorca (OAM) opens to the public as the Mallorca Planetarium — a full evening of astronomy that pairs a projection of the night sky under the planetarium's dome with real observation of the heavens through the observatory's telescopes. Sessions run Friday and Saturday evenings from 20:00, and admission is €10 (children up to age seven go free). The guided visits split into separate Spanish and English turns, reordering the activities but converging, once night falls, on the telescope observation. In the vestibule, an exhibition gathers meteorites from around the world alongside models and photographs.
