San Juan festival with music, dimonis and DJ on the Paseo del Mar
The Nit de Sant Joan is the eve of San Juan celebration (23 June) organised by the Ajuntament de Calvià across the beaches and squares of the municipality. The towns of Santa Ponça, Peguera, Palmanova and Magaluf become the main gathering points of southwest Mallorca, with bonfires on the shoreline, live music, batucada, dimonis and DJ sets from 20:00 until the early hours. The festival brings together locals and visitors to jump the bonfires, take the traditional midnight swim and see off the shortest night of the year with fire and water. It is one of the most anticipated popular festivals in the municipality of Calvià, with a festive atmosphere right on the seafront.
