Every summer the Gothic courtyard of Castell de Bellver — the round 14th-century castle on the pine-covered hill above Palma — turns into one of the island's most atmospheric open-air stages. Nits a Bellver 2026 runs from 10 June to 29 August, a long cycle of evening concerts that crosses genres without leaving the castle walls: symphonic and chamber music, opera and zarzuela, jazz, gospel, band music and dance. The cycle opens on 10 June with pop singer Belén Aguilera (tied to Mallorca Live Festival) and closes on 29 August with the Orquestra de Cambra de Mallorca playing Mahler's First Symphony. In between: the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears returns for four nights, **Verdi's *Rigoletto* staged by Òpera Garage on 23 July, the Banda Municipal de Música de Palma, and a Palma Jazz Festival strand through August headlined by the Harlem Gospel Travellers**. Bring a light layer for after dark, and arrive early — the courtyard and the views over the bay fill up fast.
