On a warm August night, Alcúdia runs a lap around its own medieval walls. The Ronda Murada reaches its XXII edition on Saturday 1 August 2026: a free night race of roughly 7.4 km that loops the walled old town, starting and finishing on the Passeig de la Mare de Déu de la Victòria. Adults set off at 21:00, after the children's races (curses dels petits) open the evening at 20:00. Run by the sports department of the Ajuntament d'Alcúdia under the Balearic athletics federation (FAIB), it's one of the town's popular summer fixtures — free, open to everyone, and run in the cool of the night alongside the floodlit stone of the ramparts.
