Rooftop Teppanyaki Sunset Dinner at Katagi Blau
High above Playa de Palma on the rooftop of the Iberostar Selection Llaut Palma, Katagi Blau turns dinner into a live show. Chefs work the teppan grill right at the table, searing premium meats, seafood and vegetables in what the house calls "the choreography of fire, technique, and flavor" — Japanese grilling technique built on seasonal Mediterranean ingredients. The kitchen's Japanese-Mediterranean plates run alongside teppanyaki classics, including a hand-cut steak tartar prepared with precision at the counter. Around it all: vertical gardens, open sky and a rooftop view over the Bay of Palma that turns gold as the sun goes down. Format: Teppanyaki is served Wednesday to Sunday, with two evening sittings — 19:30 and 21:30 — around a chef's counter that seats roughly eight guests, so the cooking happens right in front of you. Good to know: recommended for ages 14 and up, with an elegant-casual dress code. Reserve ahead — seats around the teppan are limited.
