On 29 June, Port d'Alcúdia honours Sant Pere, patron saint of fishermen, with one of Mallorca's most evocative maritime traditions. After a week of build-up — street *cercaviles* with the local Giants, evening festivities, music and gastronomy paying homage to the port's fishing families — the feast day brings a combined **sea-and-land procession**: the image of Sant Pere is carried through the streets of the port and then out across the bay of Alcúdia aboard a festooned traditional fishing boat, accompanied by a flotilla of decorated craft. The celebration closes with **fireworks at midnight**. A free, open-air celebration on the waterfront that captures the maritime soul of the bay of Alcúdia.
