Sóller Train & Tram
Ride the wooden 1912 train from Palma over the Serra de Tramuntana to Sóller — an hour through thirteen tunnels with a viewpoint stop — then take the vintage 1913 electric tram down through orange groves to the beach at Port de Sóller. The train departs from the Ferrocarril de Sóller terminus on Carrer d'Eusebi Estada in Palma, beside the Intermodal station. It climbs into the Tramuntana, threading thirteen tunnels and a high viaduct, with a brief photo stop at a mirador before dropping into the orange-and-olive valley of Sóller. From the town square, the open-sided wooden tram completes the journey down to the bay at Port de Sóller. The service runs almost year-round, pausing for a few weeks of maintenance in winter.
