Spain v France Semi-Final on the Big Screen
Palma throws its weight behind La Roja: the Ajuntament de Palma turns the Son Fusteret grounds into a giant open-air fan zone for the World Cup semi-final between Spain and France. A giant screen carries every minute live, entry is free and the doors open at 18:00 — hours before the 21:00 kick-off — so there's time to grab a spot and soak up the build-up. Before kick-off: general music warms up the crowd through the evening, and from 20:00 to 21:00 local DJ Jaume Colombàs takes over with a live set to fire up the pre-match atmosphere. Getting there: the city lays on free-flowing transport. A special EMT L10 shuttle runs five articulated buses continuously from Sindicato to Son Fusteret from 18:00, and SFM adds 16 special metro services between Son Fuster Vell and the Estació Intermodal, running late into the night at ten-minute intervals. Leave the glass, alcohol, coolers, folding chairs and flares at home — none are allowed inside the recinto.
