Open & Amateur Golf Tournaments at Club de Golf Alcanada 2026
Mallorca is one of Europe's top golf destinations, and through the summer the island's clubs run tournaments — many of them open to visiting amateurs with a handicap. Club de Golf Alcanada, beside Port d'Alcúdia, is one of the most celebrated courses on the island — a seaside layout framed by its own lighthouse islet. From July to October 2026 the club runs a string of open and amateur competitions: the GEM Summer Slam (9 & 30 July and 20 August), the World Amateur Golfers Championship (1 August), the XIV Amigos de Buba (8 August), the Inselradio Golf Trophy (12 September) and the Mallorca Zeitung Tournament (17 October). Entry terms and fees vary by tournament — a valid handicap certificate is typically required — and each has its own registration link on the club's events page. (The club's professional and members-only fixtures — the pro circuit prueba, the Balearic Doubles championship, the President's Cup, the Club Championship and the invitational Rolex Grand Final — aren't included here, as they're not open entry.) If you want more options, other clubs around the island keep open competitions running through the season.
