When the summer night falls, Alcúdia's walled old town becomes a stage. Via Fora is a dramatised guided walk that stages five scenes from the town's history — following the building and the destruction of its medieval walls, from the 14th century through to 20th-century Mallorca. Performances begin at 21:00 at the Porta des Moll and move through the streets and squares of the walled enclosure with a large cast of actors, musicians and local volunteers. In 2026 Via Fora returns with performances on 30 and 31 July and 6 and 7 August. Through the walled town
The route moves through the streets and gates of the medieval enclosure, starting at the Porta des Moll and passing the church square and the Ronda Murada.
A free community tradition
Running since 2003 and staged by Alcúdia's Culture Department with a large cast of local performers, the tour is free to attend.
