September is harvest month in the Pla de Mallorca, and the island's inland towns mark it the way they know best — with a fair. As the grapes, melons and almonds come in, three villages turn the work of the season into a day out: Binissalem stains itself purple for the grape harvest, Vilafranca de Bonany crowns its famous melons, and Son Servera fills its streets with farmers, livestock and local produce. Pick one, or string them across the month. Either way, come hungry.
End of list.
