The island's three big water parks, side by side for families — from Magaluf's record-breaking slides to gentler splashing by the northern bay.
August peaks past 30°C, and this is the day the whole family agrees on. Mallorca has three big water parks, each with its own character: the biggest and most thrilling in Magaluf, the all-ages classic on the Bay of Palma, and a gentler one made for younger kids up north. Here they are side by side, so you can pick the one that fits your family. Western Water Park (Magaluf) is the largest — around twenty slides crowned by The Beast, one of the tallest water slides in the world, plus four children's zones for when the little ones need a break from the big drops. Aqualand El Arenal sits on the Bay of Palma, minutes from the s'Arenal seafront: a broad, well-rounded mix of slides and pools that spans every age. Hidropark Alcúdia is the north's easier option — smaller and gentler, a short walk from the Alcúdia beaches and the friendliest of the three for toddlers.
