The Best Brunches in Mallorca This Week

From Asian fusion above the bay to open fire in the Calvià countryside — four ways to stretch a Sunday morning on the island.

By Thril editors

Mallorca doesn't do brunch quietly. Whether you want a rooftop with a view, bottomless drinks beside a cliff pool, or fire-cooked food on a finca terrace, the island has a format for every version of a slow Sunday. This week's shortlist spans the full range. At Katagi Blau above Playa de Palma, four hours of Asian fusion — sushi, miso wok, beef and a long drink list — unfolds on a panoramic rooftop from 10 in the morning. In Palma's old town, CUIT at the Nakar Hotel puts a Mallorcan seasonal menu on its eighth-floor terrace at €35, with the cathedral and bay spread out below. Out in Peguera, Aethos Mallorca's Bottomless Brunch is the most indulgent option: three hours of unlimited Mimosas, Bloody Marys and Cava alongside a generous buffet and live DJ from 12:30, perched above Cala Fornells. And on Sunday 21 June, Chef Pablo Marí lights the fires at Son Boronat in Calvià for Sunday Fire by Primitif — communal tables, natural wine, and food cooked slowly over wood in the open air. Book ahead for all four. Sunday Fire in particular sells out weeks in advance.
