The Best Brunches in Mallorca This Week

From an open fire in the Calvià countryside to a rooftop above La Seu — five ways to spend a slow Sunday morning on the island.

By Thril editors

Mallorca has always been good at the slow meal — the kind that starts late, takes all afternoon and ends only because the sun has finally shifted. The brunch scene right now is the best expression of that instinct: five options that span a hillside open fire, a cathedral rooftop, a cliffside pool club and one of the most decorated breakfast tables in Europe.

01

Sunday Brunch at CUIT — Nakar Hotel Rooftop

CUIT Restaurant — Nakar Hotel

Eighth-floor rooftop, La Seu in the frame, a DJ warming up at noon. Chef Miquel Calent's spread is wide and well-executed — eggs, tortillas, salmon tartare, grilled meats, pastries — at €35 for three hours. The most central option and the easiest to fill spontaneously, though tables on good-weather Sundays go fast. Book by phone: +34 871 510 046. Every Sunday, 12:00–15:00.

02

Sea-View Breakfast at Hospes Maricel

Hospes Maricel & Spa

The hotel whose breakfast Madrid Fusión crowned the best in the world, open to outside guests at €38 (buffet) or €49 (full tasting). The sea terrace hangs over the coves fifteen minutes west of Palma; the food is seasonal Mallorcan produce through a serious kitchen — ensaimades, local charcuterie, and luxury touches that shift with the season. Advance booking recommended. Every day, 09:30.

03

Bottomless Brunch at Aethos Mallorca

Ikat Pool Club — Aethos Mallorca

Aethos opened on the Peguera cliffs in 2025 and quickly made its Sunday pool-club brunch worth the 30-minute drive from Palma. A Mediterranean buffet — trout ceviche, grilled corn, charcuterie — plus unlimited Mimosas, Bloody Marys and Cava, with DJ COBIE on the decks. At €65 it's the priciest here, but the format and setting earn it. Every Sunday, 12:30–15:30.

04

Sunday Fire by Primitif — Open-Fire Brunch

Agroturismo Son Boronat, Calvià · 21 – 22 June

Chef Pablo Marí gathers guests around communal tables on a Calvià estate and cooks over open wood fire with seasonal Mallorcan ingredients and natural wines. Somewhere between asado and slow lunch, and it sells out early. Next date: June 21. Select Sundays, book at least 24 hours ahead.

05

The Grand Brunch

Ma-1, 19, Costa den Blanes

One Sunday a month, the St. Regis Mardavall opens its dining room for a formal brunch in full five-star format: live stations, an edited wine list, unhurried service. At €139 it's a splurge, but the clifftop Mediterranean setting at Costa d'en Blanes earns the price. Next date: July 5. First Sunday of the month, 13:00–16:00.

End of list.
