A Day at Safari Zoo Mallorca
The only drive-through safari on Mallorca turns a family morning into a small adventure. From Sa Coma, you roll through 3 km of open plains in your own car or aboard the safari train, with giraffes, zebras, rhinos and wildebeest grazing just metres from the window. The park is home to more than 600 animals — Asian elephants, gazelles, emus, capuchin monkeys and lilac-crowned parrots — split between the open safari and a walk-through mini-zoo built for younger kids, with ponies and a children's play park. Beyond the drive, there are keeper talks, veterinary-training demonstrations and a virtual-reality experience, The Last Frontier. After its 2025 acquisition by Rain Forest — the company behind the BIOPARC zoological parks — the site has begun a ten-year plan centred on animal welfare and education. Parking is free, and from April to October a free shuttle bus runs from Sa Coma. Good to know: Open daily 09:30–18:00 · last entry one hour before closing · stay in your vehicle through the safari zone · free parking + an April–October shuttle from Sa Coma.
