Coves dels Hams
In Porto Cristo, the Coves dels Hams are Mallorca's show caves with a soundtrack: what sets them apart from the neighbouring Coves del Drac is live music underground. The visit opens in the Round Cave, now a green garden where native Mallorcan birds fly free, moves through the Blue Cave — where the projected documentary *Discovering the Past* plays under deep-blue LEDs — and drops through twelve galleries of fine white formations to the underground lake known as the Sea of Venice. There, musicians in a small boat give a short classical light-and-music show, the moment everyone remembers. Practical: Adults €17 · children 3–12 €11 · under-3s free (Dinosaurland combo €24/€18) · open daily from 10:00 · guided in Spanish, Catalan, English, French, German and Italian · free parking, bar-restaurant and shop on site.
