Festes de Sant Bartomeu
Plaça Constitució, Sóller·22:30
Sóller celebrates its patron saint, Sant Bartomeu, with several days of fiesta that climax on 24 August, the saint's day. It is a neighbourhood festa — more family-based than the town's famous Fira and Firó — with art exhibitions, theatre, artisan crafts, sporting events, funfair rides and, every night, music and dancing in the plaça. The grand finale is the Nit de Foc: the correfoc of the Esclatabutzes de Sóller, the village's own colla of demons, who in sackcloth and bird-man masks sweep through the square wheeling catherine-wheels that spray showers of sparks over the crowd to a pounding drum beat. Practical: 24 August 2026 · Nit de Foc at 22:30 · Plaça Constitució, Sóller · free entry · come by the Sóller train or tram.
