Forest Bathing in a Holm-Oak Wood is a guided baño de bosque — the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, "bathing" in the atmosphere of the forest — held over three slow hours at Finca Santa Rita, in Son Horrach near Costitx, in the green heart of the island. There's nothing athletic about it. A guide leads a series of gentle invitations that reconnect you with the wood through your senses — touch, hearing, smell, sight and taste — as you move unhurried among the encinas.
