The Biblioteques de Calvià run a year-round hora del conte (storytime) followed by a hands-on craft workshop — a story and something to make, for children from age 3, led by the librarians. Sessions rotate through the municipality's branches — Santa Ponça, Magaluf, Peguera, Son Ferrer — so there is usually one near where families are staying. Alongside the regular storytime there are themed workshops, such as an eclipse/astronomy session with Astromallorca in Santa Ponça.
