Parc Natural de sa Dragonera
Sa Dragonera is the uninhabited, dragon-shaped islet off Mallorca's south-west tip — a protected nature park since 1995, reached only by a short boat hop from the fishing village of Sant Elm. Step off at the Cala Lledó jetty and four waymarked trails fan out to lighthouses and cliff-top viewpoints, with Eleonora's falcons overhead and the island's famous Lilford's wall lizards skittering across every wall. There's a walk for everyone: the flat, accessible Na Miranda loop (≈1.2 km, 30 min); the gentle climb to the Far de Tramuntana lighthouse (≈1.7 km return, ~1 h); and, for stronger walkers, the long haul out to the old Na Pòpia lighthouse (≈3.8 km, ~3 h) or the Far de Llebeig at the far end. The crossing from Sant Elm takes under 15 minutes and runs frequently in season; the park is open roughly 10:00–17:00 (to 18:00 Apr–Sep). There are no shops or cafés on the island, so bring water, sun cover and snacks.
