Solar Eclipse Kayak Tour
On 12 August 2026 Mallorca sees its first total solar eclipse since 1905 — and Mon d'Aventura takes it onto the water. From their base at Cala Sant Vicenç, in the wild north of the island, this guided kayak tour puts you out on the Tramuntana sea to watch the Moon pass directly between the Earth and the Sun and cast its shadow across the horizon. Because of where they sit, Mon d'Aventura is the only company running the eclipse as a paddle-out experience: a rare, sea-level seat for the event, away from the crowded viewpoints. The eclipse: across Mallorca the partial phase begins around 19:35, with totality about 20:31 and the Sun barely 2.5° above the western horizon — a once-in-a-lifetime sunset eclipse lasting a little over a minute and a half.
