SUP Yoga on Playa de Muro
Roll out your mat on a stand-up paddleboard and let the sea do the balancing. SUP Yoga on Playa de Muro takes a gentle yoga flow onto the flat morning water of the Bay of Alcúdia, on Mallorca's north coast, where every pose becomes a quiet exercise in balance and core control as the board drifts beneath you. Sessions run for about 75 minutes and are led by Yoga Alliance-certified teacher Mayra Surya of Parampara Yoga. They take place in the morning, when the sheltered water backed by the S'Albufera wetlands is calmest — no wind, no waves, just the open horizon. No previous yoga or paddle-surf experience is needed; the pace is unhurried and beginners are eased onto the board first. The class runs from April through October, making it an easy, cooling wellbeing fix at the height of the August heat.
