Visit Palma Cathedral (La Seu) & Terraces
The Cathedral of Mallorca — La Seu — rises straight off the seafront at the heart of Palma: a vast Gothic pile crowned by one of the largest rose windows in the world. In the early 20th century Antoni Gaudí reworked the sanctuary and left his mark inside the building, from the wrought-iron canopy above the altar to the way the space is lit. A self-guided visit takes in the great nave, the rose window and the interior, and general admission also includes the Museum of Sacred Art of Mallorca. Separately, a timed visit climbs to the roof terraces for a bird's-eye view over Palma and its bay; in summer there is also a guided tour at sunset. General admission to La Seu is €8 and includes the Museum of Sacred Art. The terraces are a separate ticket (around €12), offered seasonally in timed sessions.
