Mallorca's oldest winery, since 1711
Founded in 1711 and run by the same family for thirteen generations, Bodega Ribas is the oldest winery on Mallorca. In the wine village of Consell, it works the island's native grapes — the red Manto Negro and the white Prensal Blanc — from old estate vineyards. Guided visits walk you through the 18th-century family house and cellar and finish with a tasting of estate wines (and olive oil) served in the garden or inside the historic house; longer visits add appetisers or a full meal. Tours run in Spanish, English, German, Dutch and French, by appointment.
