Historic DO Binissalem winery with guided cellar tours and tastings

Bodegas José L. Ferrer is the flagship winery of Mallorca's DO Binissalem, founded in 1931 by José L. Ferrer and run today by the family's fourth generation. It works the island's indigenous grapes — Mantonegro, Callet and Moll — and opens its historic cellar for guided tours that trace the estate from its 1931 origins through to its modern winemaking areas, explaining the family history, the vineyards, the Binissalem appellation and the winemaking process. The visit closes with a tasting of four premium wines paired with Quelitas crackers, Balearic cheese, embutido and organic grape jam.
