Málaga's free contemporary-art centre in a converted 1930s wholesale market
The Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga (CAC Málaga) is the city's dedicated contemporary-art centre, occupying the old wholesale market — a rationalist 1930s building on the banks of the Guadalmedina river. Admission is free. It shows work by international and emerging Spanish artists across a permanent collection and a busy calendar of temporary exhibitions, and has long focused on art from the second half of the 20th century to today.
