Paris's Pompidou on the Málaga waterfront, under a glass cube known as 'El Cubo'
Centre Pompidou Málaga was the first outpost of Paris's storied Centre Pompidou to open outside France, launched in 2015 on the city's harbourfront at Muelle Uno. It occupies 'El Cubo' — a two-floor, glass-and-steel pavilion crowned by a multicoloured cube skylight that has become a landmark of the port. Inside, a semi-permanent display drawn from the Centre Pompidou's vast modern and contemporary collection presents 20th- and 21st-century painting, sculpture, photography and video, rotated and complemented by temporary exhibitions.
