Felanitx colla of fire-devils and batucada drummers

Espiadimonis (full name Espiadimonis & Espiatocats) is a young colla of dimonis (fire-devils) and batucada percussionists founded in Felanitx in 2011 to keep Mallorca's fire-and-noise culture alive and give local youth a way into popular tradition. Costumed in black hoods with red cloth horns and black-and-red face paint, they run correfocs (fire runs) and thundering batucada street parades at patron-saint festes and cultural events across the Migjorn. In 2026 the colla marks its 15th anniversary — headlined by a Trobada de Batucades in Portocolom that gathers guest drumming crews for a night parade through the old harbour streets.
